TEXAS Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment 2.0
The TSI Assessment (TSIA) is part of the Texas Success Initiative program designed to help your college or university determine if you are ready for college-level course work in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. If you are an incoming college student in Texas, you are required to take the TSI Assessment - unless you are already exempt.

TSI Exemptions (College-Readiness Scores)
- ACT: Score a combined 40 on the English and Reading ACT (English)
- ACT: Score 22 on the Math section (Math)
- SAT: Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) minimum score of 480
- SAT: Mathematics minimum score of 530
- Pass Dual-Credit English (English)
- Complete Texas College Bridge (English and/or Math)

- November 27 (English) and/or November 29 (Math)
- January 29 (English) and/or January 31 (Math)
- February 26 (English) and/or February 28 (Math)

REQUIRED-Steps to Register for the TSI Assessment at CSHS:
- Complete the MANDATORY Pre-Test (click HERE). Create an account and follow the prompts to the Texas Success Initiative 2.0 Pre-Assessment Activity (TSIA2 – PAA).
- Click here to sign up for the TSI.
- Pay the $15 fee in InTouch. You will be charged for the TSI regardless of whether you show up to test. We hire proctors based on registration numbers. The fee will be assessed after registration closes each month.
